Nationally-recognized speaker J. Kim Wright will lead the TVMA September 7, 2010 meeting with a program for lawyers, mediators and interested participants to explore the concept of lawyers as peacemakers.

What is your experience of the life of lawyers and the law in relationship to peace building?

What could it be?

Who are the cultural creatives within the profession of law, and those eliciting a quiet revolution from beyond it?

What is emerging that will serve community needs for peace and harmony
as we go forward together in the 21st century?

Former trial attorney, collaborative lawyer, restorative justice facilitator and trainer J. Kim Wright addresses these topics and more in her new book, Lawyers as Peacemaker, Practicing Holistic, Problem-Solving Law. She publishes CuttingEdgeLaw.com, which celebrates lawyers who work outside the box of the current legal paradigm to solve problems, heal conflicts, and promote peace.
